      On March 4, 1922 a bond issue was passed for $75,000 that provided for three new buildings, a Manual Arts and a Domestic Science building on south side, and a Kindergarten building on the north side of the 1910 Grammar School, on Fourth Street between Clark and Bridger Streets, and a two room school in Old Town (Westside School) located at Washington and D Streets. Of the 55 votes cast, 53 were in favor of the bonds, one against, and one ballot, being marked for and against, was thrown out.
