Bunkerville
1905 Another rock building was constructed, the "Rock School House". This building had four rooms three of which were connected by sliding doors. In December 1917 this building was destroyed by fire, again only the rock walls remained.
1911 The first high school classes were held in the grade school. They were taught by Paul Miner, who used one room in the grade school building. Students from Mesquite made the ten mile round trip to Bunkerville by horse or stayed with relatives in Bunkerville. By the early 1920's an open air bus was used. The first class of graduating seniors was in 1915 with eight students.
